Mum and I were babysitting a day in April 2003

Mum has a nephew called Martin, and one day he was with mum and me when his mum Camilla was going to get her hair groomed. I really wonder what makes her volunteer to get that done?!
Anyway, when she left, Martin got really upset and stood by the door crying, trying to get out through the mailbox. I quickly disappeared and hid under the cabinet in the computer room because I didn't want to be involved in the babysitting. I find it a bit of a pain, even though Martin is pretty nice. He waves at me now and again, and sometimes when I'm in the mood I let him pet me.

When he'd been standing by the door screaming for quite a while, I started to wonder if he was going to keep that up all the time, but eventually mum got him to quiet down. They sat down in the sofa and watched a film about a penguin, but I don't think Martin found it too good, because he fell asleep in mums' lap! Mum said he had a little cold, and hadn't slept much during the night, but I really think it was the film that bored him! It would have been better had they watched a film about dogs...
When Camilla returned, Martin got really happy and started fixing things in our kitchen. He pulled out everything mum keeps in the kitchen drawers, and then he started fixing my food!!

First he was whipping around in my waterbowl...

...then he took another whisk and whipped around in my food bowl...

.

...then he found some other whisks belonging to the mixer and used them.

With that whisk he was whipping the water so it was splashing all over the kitchen...

...and then he decided the food had to suffer the same treatment, so there were kibbles flying all over the kitchen. He also started to put kibbles in the water until they got all slimy.

When he decided the kibbles were slimy enough, he figured that maybe it was time to get them out of the water, and for that he used a little brush. Then he put the slimy kibbles all around the floor and it was a total mess! Exactly when he thought he was done with fixing my food, his dad called and said he was on his way to pick Camilla and Martin up. Martin quickly took his mothers hand and dragged her out in the hall where he got his shoes and coat on. When mum and I got out there, he was already sitting in his pram, ready to go, and mum and I went with them outside since we were going for a walk.

When mum and I got back from the walk, I went over to my food- and water bowls with suspicion,
to find out exactly what Matin had done to my food. I'm not too sure there was any big difference in taste, to me it was just as usual. Allthough the water was a bit fluffier after all that whipping...
