Losing the memory?
Does anyone know how you make your mum forget certain things? If so I need help!! Today I overheard mum on the phone, and she was getting an appointment for me getting groomed! I don't think I need to get groomed at all, I look good the way I am and I like my coat. So does anyone know how you make your mum loose her memory?? I'm very grateful for any tip you can give me.

Not so fun anymore
It's not so fun now as it was a couple of days ago. The snow is starting to melt away again and I'm so sad to see it go. Not only because I love playing in the snow, but also because this means I'm getting wet on our walks. All the white snow seems to turn into slush and it's quite enough going for one long walk per day. Usually I get at least two long walks, but when it's wet I don't like walking. I can stand it the first walk, but for the rest of the day I'm satisfied with just shorter walks around the closest park. Anything to keep me from getting too wet. Most of the weekend I've spent in the sofa relaxing. Mum has been there too reading books so it's been very cosy.

Playing in the snow
Today mum got the best idea ever! She knows how much I enjoy playing in the snow so she said we were going to her parents today so I could play in their garden. Mum said it to me while she was having her breakfast and I thought we were going straight away, but silly mum said she was going to take care of some other things - unimportant if you ask me - before we were leaving. So I had to wait and wait and wait while mum were doing those boring unimportant things, but finally I could see she was getting ready. I got really excited and was jumping around all over the apartment telling her to hurry up getting ready. I was acutally performing my happydance so much that I almost got all dizzy.
When we got to mum's parents house we first went inside so mum could leave her bag and get the camera out, and then we went around to the back of the house and I could start playing in the snow! It was great fun, and when I started the snow was totally untouched. Mum said that after just a short while it looked as if a family of elephants had crossed the garden. But of course there were no elephants, it was only me doing my kangoroo jumps in the snow, rolling around in the snow, digging in the snow and so on.

At one point I even got hold of my lead. Mum dropped it, and I hurried there to get the lead so that I could bury it in the snow. I mean who needs leads!! I can definitely live without it! But, of course mum caught me and said I shouldn't bury the lead, and that I also should know that in certain places - most places that is - I have to have the lead on. After a while mum called me and asked if we should go for a walk, and I thought that was a good idea even though it meant I would have to get the lead on. So, off we went and mum said we were going to the forest. We took some strange path that I can't remember walking before, at least not with mum, but it took us to the forest. It was quite difficult walking there since the paths were covered in snow so mum got her boot full of cold snow. She didn't appreciate it at all... I enjoyed the walk very much though, because I got to run some more without the lead on. I was running like a maniac over a field and it was so much fun. Towards the end of the walk though I started to notice the snow was stupid. It was the kind that got stuck in my coat, so when we got back to mum's parent's house she had to help me get all the snow away.

Mum finally did it!
Most of the winter I've asked mum to
make it snow since we didn't get much at all. Most of the winter has
been rainy and grey and no fun at all. Since mum can bake biscuits I
figured she would be able to make it snow, but she hasn't been very
successful with that. Until today that is! When we got out on our
first walk, the ground was all white and it was snow all over the
place!! Plenty of soft, white and lovely snow and it was still snowing!!

It wasn't big snowflakes, but tiny ones
and they kept coming down all day long! I have no idea how many
snowflakes fell down from the sky, it must have been billions! So I
had some great walks today, mum even let me off the lead at one place
since we seemed to be the only ones out today. Guess most people
didn't want to go out since it was extremely windy which made it a
bit difficult to walk properly. There were piles of snow all over the
place, paths were covered with snow and at one point I even fell down
in a hole! I couldn't see the hole under the snow, and suddenly I
just dissapeared. Mum didn't start laughing until she'd made sure I
hadn't hurt myself, and when she knew I was all right she laughed so
much she nearly fell into a pile of snow. Now that would have been funny!!
The only boring thing about the snow is
that it's a little bit too warm, so it turns into snowballs in my
coat. I can only hope it will get a bit colder and that the snow will stay!

Recycling
In the walk in closet mum keeps some big
paper bags in which she puts things like paper, glass and plastics.
She says she's recycling them. I have no idea what that is, something
about using it over again I think, but I know where the bags with
glass and paper goes! It goes in to a big garbage room in the garage,
and in there you find a couple of big containers where mum puts her
bags now and again. I have no idea where the bags with plastic goes
since they always come with us in the car and then mum carries them
away somewhere outside the shop where she gets her food. I always
know when it's time for recycling something, because then mum moves
one or two bags from the walk in closet and puts them in the hall.
Today was one of those days, and I decided to do some recycling
myself. I decided to recycle some wrapping paper I found in the bag!
After I tore that up in little confetti sized pieces I decided to
have another look in the bag to see could I find something more to
tear up:

When mum was taking this picture she was asking me if I thought it looked good in the hall now, with the floor covered in papers, and I said I thought it looked very well. For some reason mum didn't agree, and she put all the papers back in the bag again and then we took it to that special room. What an exciting day...

Happy Birthday!
Today I met someone in, if not the wrong place, so at least an unusual place. It happened on the first walk, and mum and I had basically just gotten out of the door. We were crossing a street, and suddenly we heard someone saying "Hello!". It turned out to be someone familiar, actually the woman mum takes me too when she thinks I need to get a proper grooming. Now I did greet the woman nicely and all, but I wasn't that keen on staying for too long since I wasn't in the mood for getting groomed. I mean who knows, maybe she had her scissors and the machine there in her bag!! So after a short little greeting I urged mum that we should move on.
The rest of the day was a fun day because mum and I went to a birthday party. It was little Martin who was celebrating turning 3 years old! I'm still older than he is, and I intend to continue being that, so I will be celebrating my birthday as usual in August! I'd gotten Martin a gift that I wrapped almost all by myself. Mum only helped me with the paper, tape and ribbons. She also helped me getting the gift itself since first of all I don't have any money, and secondly I'm not allowed to go in to any stores except the doggyfood store.

Above you can see Martin opening my
gift, and it's a sketch book and some crayons. Mum also gave Martin a
gift, and that was just clothes so I think Martin liked my gift
better. I had a very busy time at the party, since there were quite a
few people to look after. Not only Martin, his parents, mum and mum's
parents. Martin's other grandmother was there too, as well as a
little girl called Ella who is about the same age as Martin, Ella's
parents and then two other older boys. Actually Martin's big brother
- who apparently is half - and a friend of his. Plenty of people I
could try convince that I was starving, not with too much success
though. Mum seems to have her eyes and ears everywhere telling people
not to feed me!! There was only one exception to that, and that was
Martin's other grandmother. She asked mum if she could give me a
taste of her cake, and mum was kind enough to let her do so. I was
soo happy!! One that for sure wasn't going to feed me was little Ella
since she is terrified of dogs if she's too close to them. "Too
close" basically means in the same house... Her parents said
that the reason she is so scared of dogs probably is because she's
not used to dogs, and that she used to be just as terrified for cats
until she got to know her cousins' cat. Anyway, I had to sit very
close to mum in most of the time if Ella was on the floor, because if
she saw me anywhere near her, she gave up the most horrible screams
and her parents had to lift her up.
After a while when the humans had
stopped feeding their faces with cakes and stuff, almost everyone
left and mum went to play a bit with Martin. They were driving little
cars and watching some film and Martin was telling mum all sorts of
strange things. I don't really think mum understood everything he
said, but she pretended she did. She also tried to take pictures of
me and Martin together, but it's not the easiest thing in the world.
Below here you can see the one picture that turned out reasonably well.

Weird
helmet
Sometimes when you're fixing and organising things, weird things happen. I very often - mostly every day several times per day - help mum make her bed since I think she does it the wrong way. Tonight I decided I had to remake her bed once again and I jumped up in the bed starting my work. So, just as I was rolling around, pulling the duvets and pillows I suddenly lost my sight! Everything around me disappeared, the room was gone, mum was gone and it was very strange. Suddenly I noticed my head was stuck in something, and I could also hear mum somewhere and she was giggling! There I was, without seeing anything and all mum did was laugh?! She also said that "it was an interesting type of hat you got yourself there!". Mum sounded far away, and I realised I could see something, and that was sort of a material. I was on my back with my legs up in the air, and as I tried to turn around and get up I noticed it was rather difficult to move my head. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and it turned out that as I was rolling around fixing mum's bed, I got my head stuck in one of the pillow cases, so I was actually wearing a pillow on my head! So in the future I'm going to be more careful when I help mum make her bed, I didn't find it amusing at all having my head stuck in the pillow!
